Annual Meeting of LES China 2012
LES China held its 2012 annual meeting on October 27-28 in Yibin City Sichuan Province with about 50 attendees. The agenda was well organized, including Mr. Ma Hao’s (Vice Chairman of LES China) opening remarks, Mr. Luo Dongchuan’s (senior judge from the Supreme Court) speech “Comprehension of the Supreme Court’s stipulations in using cases”, Mrs. Sun Xiaodan’s (Head IP Counsel of Qoros Auto Co.,Ltd.) speech “IP Strategy and the faced challenges), Mrs. Gu Xiaoli”s (deputy director of PTO’s preliminary examination department) speech “Overview of patent licensing in China”, Mr. Li Yong’s (Vice Chairman of LES China) remarks on two cases involving patent transfer and licensing, mimic arbitration tribunal on a dispute about a technology transfer contract” composed by Mr. Chi Shaojie (lawyer), Mr. Shao Wei (Vice Chairman of LES China), Mr. Wu Yuhe (lawyer), Mr. Teng Yinong and Mr. Li Yang (both board member of LES China), Mrs. Lou Xianying’s (board member of LES China) speech “Analysis of trademark and unfair competition dispute cases”, IP management briefings by Mr. Li Daoshan (head of legal department of Beijing West Industries Co., Ltd.) and Mr. Su Tongxing (head of legal department of Hebei Aulion Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.), Mr. Li Guangya’s (deputy head of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology) speech “the development and spirit of China’s space technology”, etc.
This meeting getting the attention from authorities concerned as before and attracting new members from enterprises was highly appreciated by the attendees, who agreed to further the discussions after the meeting.
The board meeting during the meeting elected Mrs.Gu Xiaoli and Mr. Dang Xiaolin as new board members.
