1. An individual who requests to join LES China shall submit a written application to show acceptance of LES China Bylaws and obligation to LES China Rules of Conduct for Members.
2. Every Member shall pay membership dues before the end of March each year, the amount of which is established by the Board of Trustees, and a settled portion of the dues is remitted by the Secretariat to LESI for membership dues of LESI. A Member whose dues remain unpaid after one year and beyond the time limit specified in a written payment notice from the Board of Trustees may be taken as quitting the membership by himself/herself.
3. During the sessions of Members Congress, a Member who is absent can designate another Member to vote in deputy.
A resolution of Members Congress must be consented by more than half Members in total number, and the resolution of stipulating and amending LES China Bylaws and Regulations must be consented by more than two third of the Members in total number.
A draft resolution for amending LES China Bylaws and Regulations must be informed to every Member in a written form at least 30 days before the meeting discussing said draft resolution takes place.
The Board of Trustees holds a meeting only when more than one third of Trustees attend and any resolution must be consented by more than half of Trustees being present.
